My Vet told me one reason he would take my little one out of the room (and this was just for shots)...is because he did not want my baby to associate the procedure (in case they became upset or felt anything) with me being in the room. Pychological I guess.

Maybe this is the reason your vet did what he did.

The Vet I used has since retired but was very compassionate. I really miss him and the caring attitude he had towards all animals.

Wish there were more like him these days.
