I have the Alyson bag and it is not escape proof. Wenny can push her way out where the velcro is between the zippers. This was a problem when I flew to Iowa to get her...on our way home she actually got out and I didn't even know it (as I had no idea she'd try or actually be able to push her way out)! She started walking down the aisle of the plane!

Now, she only tries to get out once and a while. Although, if the bag is on the ground (especially on a plane), she is more likely to try and get out. I still love the bag because it looks like a large purse, and it has pockets on the outside, so I can put my stuff in them.
