I agree... talk to the vet about a sedative for traveling. I also agree with the car seat thing. Now for me, the car seats are WAY too expensive, so I have a seat belt harness from petedge and I have a large, fluffy pillow for them to stand on. Of course, I have big babies (8 and 14 lbs), but maybe that would work for you.
