I can tell you that my girls love going in the car, but they still both shake from nervousness/excitement. After a few minutes they both settle down. So, you little one could have been both cold and just a little nervous. Generally speaking, if you are cold and bundled up, your baby probably needs to be to. Sometimes, they just like to be snuggled up and under something regardless of the temperature!!!
