I think what happened to the OP is
exactly the reason alot of breeders do not want to ship their puppies. Unfortunately, this stuff does happen.
I think it would take alot more than this to tarnish this experienced breeder's reputation. She knows and is known by many. All I can say is that anyone getting a dog from this kind of breeder is "lucky".
I agree with YorkichonBella that this thread does not need to be closed or deleted. If the thread had been closed people would have wondered what did happen. Frankly, I read this thread but I don't know that I would have looked through the rest of the site for a "new" thread to find out the conclusion. It's right where it should be - where it started. We expect people who post in the "sick" threads to post outcomes there - why wouldn't we expect to find out the result here?
I applaud the OP for coming back, after she took care of her new baby, and posting what the end result was. That was actually the best testament of all - for her and the breeder!
