I'm not sure I'm the one to respond to your post but my experience with the rescue group that we got our little guy from were very caring people and yes careful about adopting. I filled out an application and talked on the phone as well as via e-mail. I suppose every rescue group are different to some degree, but I can only speak of our experience and it was good. Please don't let one group stop you from trying to adopt a rescue. God willing we will adopt another puppymill rescue. It is so rewarding.
