OKYR was sent an email asking us to submit possible rescues for them, here is what they are looking for:
You may have heard, the Obama family is adding a dog to their family and have said they'll adopt from a shelter or rescue group. Iams Home 4 the Holidays wants to help the Obama family find their new family member. We would like your help identifying dogs available for adoption within the Iams Home 4 the Holidays shelter network. If you have a dog at your organization that meets the following criteria, please let us know!
Fun-loving disposition
Good with active, young children under 10 years old
Small to medium size
Comfortable with crowds and strangers
Easy grooming and maintenance (hypo-allergenic/allergy friendly low dander, does not shed as much, etc.)
Travels well
Age: puppy to young adult |
