thanks that makes me feel better! he was never even on pain meds, so he truly does seem to feel fine. I was just expecting it to be healed too quickly i guess. he will lick it every once in awhile--im sure he is itching but no biting or scratching. I read somewhere that putting vitamin e oil around the site [not directly on] will relieve the itch and help speed up healing. anyone heard of this? i'm almost scared to touch it, though. i'm really paranoid when it comes to my babies! hah

neutering literally takes about 10 min to do, and spaying can take up to 30-hour. so im sure he will be just fine! its so much easier for males than females....
