Well at least others have had this same problem. Doesn't sound like it's too serious.....

Yes, this happened to me 10 years ago to my show dog no less. She was doing very well at the dog shows. My vet. at the time tried to drain it also, but unfortunatly that treatment did not work & she had to have surgery. We tried to make it stand up again, with no luck. She developed a floppy ear after & we were devistated. As her show career was over, but she was okay after surgery, which we were thankful for. We could have had it surgically fixed to stand up again, but decided against it. Good Luck to you.

That's too bad about the show dog!! How upsetting for everyone...Glad you opted against surgery...obviously you were putting your babies health and welfare before her career!! :0)
