I had trouble with LilyBug's hairs as well. I show horses and after bathing her I spray a little showsheen on her and work in with my hands. Showsheen is used on horse coats ( safe for dogs). It repels dirt AND keeps the coat silky soft. I also use it on my shelties and seldom have problems with tangles. Of course I brush them ALL the time. I comb out Lilybug 3 X's a week takes 4 minutes. She loves it. AND her hair is so long and silky. Can get it at Walmart and TSC if in your area.

by the way Suri is sooooo cute !

So...I have been having trouble with Suri's hair. I brush it all the time but the sides keep getting tangled. So I tried different shampoos and conditioners, and nothing. I asked a groomer what they thought and they said it would be best to shave her body because the hair underneath was nice and soft and it was just the mixing of the puppy hair with the newer hair. Anywho... I didn't want to put her through the stress of going to a groomer so I did it. I was nervous that she would look funny, as we all know they look big until you take away their hair. She is absolutely adorable, she looks like a lion head or a little buffalo racing around the house. We are making sure to keep her warm with sweaters and blankets, but thank goodness the weather is staying nice.
I present to you ,the new really naked Suri!!! |
