My yorkie book says
"there are subtle signs that she is pregnant:she may be quieter than usual,her teats may increase in size,she may have a colourless discharge after 2-3 weeks.The period of gestation varies from 60-63 days" the book also says that heads can be detected between the 21st and 28th day and a veterinary blood test will detect pregnancy.Maybe go and see a different vet,it's important to know because you have to increase the amount of food you feed the mom dog.
