Don't beat yourself up over it! You're in no way a bad mother! The same thing happened to me w/ my Bella, I planned to get her spayed after the holidays last year, and right away in January she started. They grow up so fast, the time flies, and you don't realize it until something like that happens. You think "Oh she's still a puppy" then you wake up one morning and she's a little lady!
