Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or information on what to expect when bringing a new puppy into your home after having a yorkie for a year and a half? I think Buddy would enjoy a friend and my aunt's dog is getting ready to have puppies soon. The last litter she had was all male dogs and I don't think Buddy would do good around another male dog so if she happens to have a female this time I am considering getting her and bringing her home. My aunt has several dogs in her house and they will more than likely be going to a no-kill shelter. Anyway, I was wondering what to expect when you bring another dog into your home? Buddy has been fixed. Will they still try to mate with each other? I plan on getting the girl fixed as soon as she is old enough as well. Thanks for any advice you'd be willing to give. The mother is a chihuahua but the father is unknown. Buddy is a 17 pound yorkshire terrier. Thanks again!
