The sad fact is that every city has someone with that job. The emotional toll it must take is horrible to think of. I don't think a one of them enjoys their job. I had my Toy put down 2 years ago and, even while grieving over her, I couldn't help but think of the poor guy that did the injection (I had it done at the local Humane Society) and what he must go through as it was obvious he was an animal lover. That night I said a prayer for him and all those who had that horrible job. I think of them often to this day. |
