We go over to my mom's house for thanksgiving. It's turkey, walnut stuffing and Amish stuffing, corn, green beans, mash potatoes, squash and homemade pumpkin pie and apple pie. We also have a few different wines to try

This year I am bringing a meatless dish for me in place of the turkey because I have became vegetarian this past May
The day after thanksgiving we go over to my inlaws because Downtown Sandusky has the Tree lighting ceremony that day! We alway's go down for that. They do not have a turkey for thanksgiving diner, this year she is making roast beef. Again I am bringing my own dish in place of the beef. She is roasting vegies in a vegie broth for me though. At first my mother in law told me that I was going to ruin thanksgiving and that I was picky enough as it was let alone to become a vegetarian, but she has simmered down after I have brought my own dished to share when they host a diner for us. I also bring a nice bottle or two of wine for that, and after the ceremony we head back for hot cocoa and hot apple cider and I share the wine with the adults!
