It is used in many products to activate different things.
I'm not sure how many veterinary products it is used in but I would be very careful.
I understand the anesthesia concern.
I have that with Ellie too and there are people who have had such great results with Petzlife that it is tempting to go back to it. I guess it comes down to what is the bigger risk, anesthesia or grain alcohol. And if you use Petzlife a few times, it might be okay but I really don't like to take chances. If grain alcohol is used in amounts that your dog can't handle or for too long, I don't think we can be sure that it is safer than anesthesia. Maybe talk to your vet about using it?
