Yes craving ice is a sign of an iron deficiency. I have always loved to eat ice, but for awhile I was just craving it and couldn't get enough of it. My boss kept saying that is a sign of something but I can't remember what. Then when I went in for my treatment, they did bloodwork, and the first thing the dr asked was do you eat a lot of ice he said my bloodcount and iron was incredibly low, so I had to take iron pills.

Gina..you just need to go to the pharmacy and get some over the counter iron pills.
