I'm gonna give you my thoughts, but it's just what I'd do. - I'd wait until I KNEW I wanted to go through it again. If her heats are too bad, or whatever. You don't HAVE to have it done again for pregnancy, and my vet says you can have it done anytime. Why not have it done when you are having her teeth cleaned or something else important she needs to be "asleep" for at the same time? Just MY idea. I hate having them put to sleep. I'd be furious if that had happened to Sabrina - but I wouldn't change vets either. He's too nice and too good and anyone can make a mistake (?????).
