My old neighbor tried to pet Cleo once while wearing big gloves. Cleo growled and snapped at her. She has never done that to a person ever. Then again, that ended up being the neighbor that caused all of the problems with us, so it was probably because dogs can read people better than people can. That reporter is probably a big jerk too, lol.
