I'm due to fly out at the end of this to visit my parents. The last time I had Bentley on a flight with me he barked non-stop. I felt so bad because it was his first time and he was rather scared. When we were in the sky already, I took his carrier, put it on my lap, and let him stick his head out. One of the stewardesses had a big problem - saying that it was against health regulations, while the others were fine with it since it kept him quiet.

Does anyone have any tips on flying with their fur-babies, especially if they like to bark? A friend told me that the vet can give me a sedative or to use Benadryl but I'm a little weary of that.
