I've had very similar experiences with several groomers now. I will explain exactly what I want, I've even had them write it down in front of me and come back to pick Finni up and will end up horrified!
I've tried my vet's in house groomer, several Pet's Marts and a local groomer. It seems they always have an idea for how they'd like his hair cut, nevermind the owner's opionion!!
Lets just say I've given up on groomer's and I cut his hair myself!!!!
