Lily is 7 months and we are still struggling with this.She now gets no free time for accidents. She is in her crate, on my lap, out playing fetch or walking, or tied to my waist with a leash (Iknow her signs she is going to potty, nose down,sniffing, circling) and I take her out. I am treating 90% of the time with atreat when she goes outside, and I do a very, very firm, loud No if I catch her starting in the house, lift her and take her out to finish. my frustration level is high at times - I LOVE her so much and currently she is a little angel curled up in my lap. Good luck. I'm trying too. I'd love to hear from someone who has been successful. My neighbor has a yorkie that is 8 yrs old and still potties in their house. NO WAY.
