Thank you soooo much for the advice. I know he might calm down and become cuddly/stop marking but I'm just not prepared to take that risk. I do not want to have a dog that I wasn't really looking for for 15 years. I'm sure I would grow to love him no matter what his personality was like but it is probably best to wait for the perfect one. A retired couple is coming to look at him so I hope that works out!
As for the Maltese, I was at first thinking their coat is too much effort but it looks like if I keep it in a puppy cut it won't be much more work than the Yorkie. I found a 2 year old girl who is well taken care of and she sounds good so hopefully the person considers me for a home and I can meet her. |
