I tried to limit his activity for the first few days but it is getting really hard now b/c he is a youngin'-running and playing etc etc. There is no discharge and he doesn't seem to be in pain but the incision still looks fresh to me-not like it is healing up. Is this normal for only one week after surgery? How long did it take your lil guys to heal up after being fixed?

Thanks!

even though he seems fine, it could be the pain meds working which is making him feel great, but he can still cause damage to his little incision! just watch him real well. neutring is such an easier process than spaying is. It can still get infected from the inside, so just be careful!
