We made our doggie gates. Because we don't want Mr Piddles (aka Clarence our 12yr old on diuretics) in the bedrooms we took plastic crosshatched panels (get it a Lowes) cut sections smaller that the door & only about 20" tall then we cut the plastic chanel (that they have for finishing it) & gorilla glued the frame to the section. To keep it in the door we cut qtr round & nailed it to the door frame so we can slide it up & down in case we want to take it out. It sounds like a lot of work for little dogs but we don't want them in the bedrooms so it works for us.
