Hello! I have been lurking, but decided to go ahead and jump in here. We just got our first Yorkie this past weekend. He is 8 weeks old. We are still adjusting. His name is Maximus. Dh was not fond of animals in the house, but he absolutely adores the pup, and he also named him. He is hooked, lined, and sinkered. lol I would love any book recommendations on handling and care of them. We are doing the crate training, although, last night and Tuesday he peed in the crate (we even have the crate blocked just big enough for him to turn around in. Last night was my fault, I overslept. I have been getting up every two and three hours to take him outside. I know he is still a puppy and he will have accidents though, so I just keep on trying. He whines a little when he first goes in his crate, but usually quiets down in no time. This is our baby:
