I usually use the tip of my finger to blend usually, but I will definitely get a brush and try it out! I love playing with makeup and stuff! I don't ever use foundation or anything though, my skin gets so greasy and I'm pretty low maintenance (lazy) lol. I stick with eyes and a nice lipgloss!
As for types of makeup, I usually use the stuff I can get at the drugstore. I don't usually stick to one brand - if I see a colour I'm crazy about I'll grab it, etc. I don't really live in a town of any noteable size so I'll take what I can get I guess. I do a lot of internet shopping too if you know any good websites!
