My daughters are (almost) 4, and 1 and I haven't experienced any problems. Twinkle is almost 6lb at 5months and so I dont feel I have some of the worry that those who have very tiny yorkies have....saying that, of course they are NEVER left unsupervised. Both girls know to sit on the floor and let Twinkle come to them, not to pick her up, and when she goes to her crate they are to leave her alone as that's her space. I know that, of course, accidents can happen, and that its more likely with small children - but as long as there is constant supervision and rules in place it can work very well...it has for me Also, I believe that by raising my children with animals I am teaching them to love and respect them xx xxx
