We met Higgin's Mom at a Casita RV Rally down in Crystal River, FL! I told her about YorkieTalk!!
She was just Mary Ellen then and Higgin's was just a "gleam in his Daddy's eye"!! They only had their Doodle, Pogo then but Higgin's Dad, "Don the Dog Hater" fell in love with Toto! Next thing we knew, they found little Higgin's and became Yorkieholics too!!
Since we have been in Colorado, I met Yorkieangel [YT member] and her daughter, Wendy, who are from Glenwood, CO! They are both so sweet and so much fun .... we spent a day together recently ... we talk on the phone & e-mail each other! We are busy looking for just the right Yorkie baby for her. She lost her 13 yr. old Annie just this past March. It's so unbelievable that Toto and Annie look like twins and have almost identical personalities!!
We have also been blessed to meet Trish, from United Yorkie Rescue who lives right here in Grand Junction, CO! She is a wonderful person [anyone who foster's these babies has something extra special]!! She and her family have been gracious enough to invite us over to play & visit with them & their babies!! We have our fingers crossed that we may be able to adopt a sweet little foster!!
