Well, to give my opinion on that as techincally as possible...
-- I never imagined when gas prices dropped that they would remain 'lower' for long. So "yes", I believe they are going to rise again.
--I believe that while it may not be a political strategy, or plot completely, I believe that politics plays a big role in gas prices. So "yes", I believe that the price change will have political underlyings.
--The election was Tues, everything from the present forward and beyond will techincally be happening 'after the election.' So "yes" I beleive that the increase will come after the election.
So litterally speaking, base on that reasoning, my official answer to the question is,
"Yes, I believe that after the election the prices of gas will increase due to political reasons." NOT to be construed as, "Yes, they will increase because of the election results."
(Boy, do I have too much time on my hands or what!?)
