I would like to sincerely thank everyone who responded to my post. I'm sorry for not posting again earlier, but I've been a bit busy...with my new puppy!! I ended up finding my Yorkie from a local breeder that my bf's father knows. And I ended up getting a boy instead, and after just a few days I can't imagine my life without him! He's 9 weeks old now and is the biggest sweetheart ever! Of course, he does have his moments, but I realize he's still only a baby and with the proper training and time he'll be fine.
I started crate training him from day 1 and although it breaks my heart to hear him cry I know that in the long run it's the best thing to do. He's slowly getting used to it (it's only been a few days so I know I can't expect much now), and when he's sleepy and I put him in there he just snuggles up in his blanket and falls asleep.
Once again, thank you to all who took the time to reply. I truly appreciate it and had I not found my boy so soon after posting my first post I'm sure I would have found a little angel from one of the terrific members who contacted me. Good luck to those looking for families for their little ones! I'll see everyone around the other parts of the forum...I know I'm going to have lots of questions in the coming months!
