I am so sorry for your loss.
Coyotes are also a problem here. We make sure that we are close to Daisy when she goes outside. I am so afraid that one will come out and get her.I also make sure my springer is around too.
We have a great horned owl by my home and the eagles are regular visitors. I am so afraid that one of them will think she is a big fat rabbit! The joys of living in the country!!
