Thanks for the replies, everyone, you have been most informative!

And this in spite of the fact that I was not clear on the specifics, for which I now apologize.

Jasmine is an adult Yorkie (8 years old, to be exact), so no worries there. She has always been fairly thin as well; she stands about 8 inches tall at the shoulder and just barely, on a good day, tips the scales at five pounds, so no worries as to weight gain either. (In fact, I'd be happy if she put on a few ounces.) She is also, sad to say, a fairly picky eater. Until I brought the Evo home, she has never, no, not once, accepted any type of dry dog food or dry treat from me (or anyone else, for that matter). She has eaten the dry dog food I've put in her bowl every night, but it's always been with reluctance. I only kept giving it to her because I thought it was the best food out there (and back when I first starting buying it, it was, but that is no longer the case).

That she not only took the Evo from me, but started doing tricks for it has impressed me to no end.

So, with the info you folks have given me, and some additional info I found on some of the older posts that I had missed last night, I've decided to go ahead and give Jaz both the Evo and the raw. I'll switch her over to the Evo over the next week...actually, I'll try to do it as slow as that, but when I got up this morning, she had scattered all her kibbles across the floor and was picking out the Evo! In any case, once she's had some time to adjust to the new kibbles, I'll add the raw to her diet.

I'm so excited and happy I've found a way to make my little furbaby's life better!
