Im currently studying a law degree, my reason for this is because i want to fight to change laws on animal welfare. I have suffered from ocd since the age of 10 where i am constantly plagued with intrusive thoughts about germs and contamination. But my dogs are my whole life and i would never harm a hair on their innocent little heads. Too many people use mental health as an excuse for their behavior. When i first read this article i wondered if it was witchcraft due to it being close to haloween.
This should never of happened, The spca should be given more funding and more legal powers to intervene before an incident like this happens. Lets be honest, the government spends billions of £s/ on weapons so why cant they spend more on animal welfare. We live in a world where peoples priorities are wrong. Too many people are concerned with superficial things, when animals can teach us so much about love and hapiness yet so many people don't treat them with the respect they deserve |
