YorkieRose, I am checking my parti boy and comparing him with my piebald-gene carrying girl. I don't see any brownish coloration on the skin of my mom who is the gene carrier. I would wonder if I did see discolorations on my dogs that had NO parti/piebald in their background. Possibly Lexie does have piebalding in her background. The Yorkies I have seen with white flashes were the standard colors as adults..the white had blended into the tan or gold..
AKC has very specific discriptions of what constitutes a PARTI color and a few white patches does not a parti make...I think these dogs are so cute I cannot imagone life without them but I will NOT pay somebody to make a dummy out of me by paying them the outrageous prices they are asking.. |
