Yep, mik thistle and Denosyl are both very good supplements to have your baby on...
They protect the liver from further damage and help regenerate the parts that have already been damaged.
There are no real side effects except that sometimes denosyl can make the tinier dogs nauseous. If this is the case, we use Vetri-DMG which is a precursor to denosyl.
They are safe supplements.
Milk thistle is actually recommended for pre and post surgery (even non-liver related) because it protects the liver and helps the dog detox from the anesthesia which can really take a toll on them.
They provide liver support....
