Unfortunately, it is near impossible to judge adult size when the puppies are young. Best to wait til they are past 12 weeks to try to guesstimate the adult weight. A five pounder is still really small so maybe you could set your sights on a 4 to 5 pound dog. Any breeder who tries to sell you a teacup or guarantee that a puppy will be a tiny adult is not honest so don't deal with them. JMHO
