I didn't see any name calling, but I may have missed it.
Like I said, on the other forum I mod, people get out of hand sometimes. So what we do is we take care of those people and send them a PM/edit their post, but I don't think its fair to take the discussion away from people who are truly in it to discuss. When I joined that discussion I was pumped to talk about it with my YT friends, I didn't want name calling. With politics comes heat in any case, but the heat can be kept under control. My VERY dearest friend and I disagree on this subject, and yet we were able to watch the election together last night - debating - but without a negative word towards each other. It's really not that hard to be civil, and I honestly think that, given the chance, the majority of YT'ers would be able to handle it. |
