Default parti color Yorkies

I own a beautiful parti male Yorkie and he is AKC registered. I also own Biewers that were originally from Germany. If I sent a pic of a passel of these pups together you would not be able to tell one from the other..I have seen many Yorkie puppies who are from standard color parents and who, when the puppies were born, had white flashes on tummy, forehead and legs. They are not partis, Biewers or anything other than mis-marked Yorkies. The white is almost always in the areas that turn tan or gold and disappear when the puppy becomes adult.
Those Yorkies who are called Parti (USA) or Biewer(Germany) are piebalds and have the typical ticking on their skin just as Dalmatians or piebald Doxies.
As YorkieRose said, you will not get the pattern of a parti by mixing 2 breeds as the piebald gene is the factor not the characteriatics of the breeds used in the mix...
