Maddie is celebrating her first birthday. We aren't having a party today because it is also her brother, Kirby's, birthday and my daughter works two jobs today, so I would feel guilty having a party for Maddie without them included. The plan was to have a party on my daughter's deck on Saturday, but the weather calls for temps in the 50's and rain, so...now I don't know what we'll do. Maybe I'll have it here and keep the dogs confined to the sunroom so if there is any mess, I will just have one room to clean. I made Kirby and Maddie matching outfits and party hats. On the hats I put, "It's my party and I'll bark if I want to" (thanks to Kim for that idea) and I'm the birthday girl/boy." My grandson picked out the material for their birthday outfits.

Here are a few pics of Maddie in her birthday get up and also one in her new fleece coat with snowmen on it. I hate snow, but love snowmen! Also, her new toys...she's so happy with them. One is a flip-flop...can you believe in my younger years, they were called thongs? LOL
