Not a big one but what great times we have when we go away with Gypsy Rose! Not long ago we stayed practically right on the beach in a little bay - renamed her SANDY Rose for the w/e!! All she wanted to do was go back to the beach all the time! Where do you go and does your yorkie/s enjoy etc? Do you go on short trips or long ones etc?! Ana xx |
The "Casita" is the "brand" [like Mercedes is a car] and it indeed means "little house" in Spanish because the largest one is only 17 feet ... they are made of fiberglass and the only way to get a new one is order from the factory [located in Rice, Texas] and pick it up there! It's "egg shaped" therefore it is nick-named an "egg"!
It's a trailer and you hook it to your vehicle and tow it where you are going. We met Mary Ellen [Higgin's Mom] and her husband Don [Don the Dog Hater ...
] through a club [Casita Club] of "egg" owners and we meet once a year for a few days and it is great fun! The Casita is equipped with everything you need ... power/gas/battery .. water ...bath ... kitchen ... bed ... table, etc. .. just small! Really small ... I am claustrofobic so I can only stay in it for a few days at the time! We met Mary Ellen & Don at the Rally last year and after it was over they stayed the entire winter in theirs down in Florida ... my favorite place in this country ... [deep South ... warm climate] They had a great time. My Patrick loves the Casita and sometimes takes it out for a few days alone ... sometimes Toto and I go or if he is going for more than a few days we just drive up and meet him where he is camped! Toto loves it for the most part but is always happy to be back home where she has plenty of room to run and play! Patrick likes to go to the mountains and I prefer the beach so we try to do both! Where do you go and what do you do in Wales? I find it interesting and would like to visit there someday!
