Default question for all you nurses/medical prof

I had a urinalysis done today and it was full of bad things, so Im being treated for yet ANOTHER uti...One of the things they found though was a high level of glucose in my urine... Could that have anything to do with the UTI or could that be a possible indicator of Diabetes? I asked my doctor and she is sending it off to be cultured and told me to wait for it to come back so no straight forward answer... Im only 26, normal weight, but both my parents were diabetic and so is my brother.. But they were not diagnosed until they were way older than I am and they didnt take care of themselves the way I do,, I work out eat somewhat healthy....
