That had to be gut wrenching. I hope that woman never sells another puppy! What the hell did she think you were going to do with a puppy? Held it too much my fanny!
Did you ever take any recourse or action against this woman? I would have...I think? I would have at the very least taken her to small claims court and made he refund the cost of Mattie and vet bills. It would serve her right and maybe send her a message.
Regardless, I'm so happy you have a healthy baby now
