Her health is definitely more important than getting her in clothes. I think some dogs just don't tolerate getting dressed up no matter when you start. Luckily, she is such a looker she doesn't need the clothes anyways. Baby steps..the dress is a huge first step then one day the hat will come!

I'm a mean Mom. I made Rory eat dinner and take a nap with her bonnet for her Little Bo Peep Halloween costume on her head just to see how well it would stay on. She didn't swat at it once, so it must not have bothered her. My sister's dog always wants to bite the clothes off of her, and my parents' dogs think she is a little toy when she is dressed up and can't get enough of her!
