I feel the same way. It has to be safer than putting her back on steroids. When her arthritis flares up her blood sugar goes way up, too, (she's diabetic) so it's really important to keep it under control.
She has done amazingly well on Cosequin. She has terrible arthritis in one hip and shoulder. There were times when it flared up that I had to walk her in a sling she was in so much pain. She
runs since she has been getting Cosequin!
