Banding is painful..as I found with my pups. I tried it and they cried and fussed for several hours after putting a rubber band on. I was told that was how you do it..I decided to find a better way. Clamp and twist at 3 days is bloodless, can be done as they nurse and barely a reaction, no infection and it makes a great tail set.

I know this is a sore subject with many...but I see nothing wrong in a procedure that can be done fairly painless at 3 days...compared to what is going on in the world with human children, I think the forcus is off kilter..JMO and I respect those who do not dock.
