I want to think everyone who helped me get with the handfeeding tips. Daisies six little girls are doing great, even the little runt we named "Jelly" that the vet didnt except to make it. She was sooo weak, actually they were all in great jeopardy, but we were determined to keep our babies alive. They are now a little over 3 weeks old and hitting the playing stage. They are so much fun and so daggone sweet. Jelly couldnt have her tail docked but it just adds to her personality. We will have to wait until she is an adult if its to be done. We are still feeding Jelly and her smallest sister the full amount required and supplementing all 4 of the others every 4 hrs but we can now at least sleep thru the night. Daisy has been being such a good mom, she just needs our help.We have formed such a bond with the puppies having to handfeed, they are very precious to us. I will try to get pictures soon.
