It is not uncommon for one female in heat to pull another into heat early. And yes, if your girl was in heat and you didn't keep her separated from the male, then yes, she most certainly could be preggers.
BTW, you may want to start a new thread...this one is very old and not altogether relevant to the problem you are having.
