Also, many of the diseases our pets will get from these foods take years to develop as is the case with most cancers. Just because our pets aren't getting sick immediately from these foods doesn't convince me, there are not long term implications from feeding them. |
Lol, actually I'm probably less trusting then most people on YT. Ellie doesn't eat dog food or treats at all anymore.

It isn't worth the risk. If I had more dogs or larger ones, I may have to feed commercial diets though and I wouldn't be happy about it. I didn't watch the rendering plant video but have read about them. I just think if all of the animal ingredients are specifically named, it is very unlikely that dogs and cats are ingredients... That doesn't mean it hasn't happened before though. And the things that are "rendered" from animals are just disgusting but what other choice is there unless everybody starts homecooking or feeding prey model raw?
I agree that Menu waited way too long to recall the food manufactured there and if it would've been human food, it would've been recalled faster. For that I do not support Menu or any of the foods made there. That included Wellness canned and Nature's Variety canned. Since they took so long to recall last time, if there is a problem, I won't trust them now.
