I think that when our dogs go nuts over the introduction of a "new" food, that is because it is a different food. Much like if we had the same dish over and over, only to finally get a different dish for dinner. Not that it necessarily tastes any better, BUT because it is a different item that what they are used to...in which case...anything is better than what they are used to.
Regarding the mixing of kibble w/ raw foods. If you decide to feed your dogs raw foods, I would introduce the raw foods slowly by gradually mixing it into their kibble. At least, that is what I would do... |
